Michelle Knight is one of the three women who were kidnapped by Ariel Castro and held captive in his home in Cleveland, Ohio, from 2002 until their rescue in 2013. Knight was the first of the three women to be abducted. During her captivity, she endured severe abuse and was often isolated.
After her rescue, Knight became an advocate for other survivors of violence and spoke publicly about her experiences to raise awareness about kidnapping and abuse. She has also authored a memoir titled "Finding Me," which details her traumatic experiences and her journey towards healing and recovery.
