E. B. White - كتب

E. B. White (Ellsworth Boaty White) was an American essayist, author, and poet, best known for his children's books, particularly "Charlotte's Web," "Stuart Little," and "The Trumpet of the Swan." Born on July 11, 1899, in Mount Vernon, New York, he was also a prominent writer for The New Yorker and contributed to many of the magazine's defining works in the early to mid-20th century.

White’s writing is characterized by its clarity, simplicity, and depth, often exploring themes of nature, relationships, and the human experience. His essays frequently reflect his affection for the natural world and his insights into rural life, especially after he moved to a farm in Maine.

In addition to his children's literature, White co-authored "The Elements of Style," a classic manual of the principles of English style and composition, with William Strunk Jr. This book has influenced generations of writers and remains widely used in writing courses today.

E. B. White passed away on October 1, 1985, but his works continue to be beloved by readers of all ages.
