He earned a degree in chemical engineering from the City College of New York and later a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
Grove joined Intel in 1968, where he played a critical role in the company's growth, particularly during the rise of microprocessors, which were fundamental to the development of personal computers. He served as Intel’s CEO from 1987 to 1998 and was instrumental in pushing for a focus on innovation and quality, principles encapsulated in his famous mantra, "Only the paranoid survive," which also became the title of his bestselling book.
